HR Manager Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled HR Manager to support the smooth operation of a secondary school in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing all aspects of HR, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, staff management, absence monitoring, and employee relations.
- Manage the recruitment process for teaching and support staff, adhering to safer recruitment practices.
- Provide advice and support to the school leadership team on HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
- Handle payroll, pensions, and contractual matters in conjunction with the school's finance team.
- Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
- Act as the main point of contact for HR queries from staff and leadership.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HR management, preferably within an educational or public sector environment.
- Experience with HR software and strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with school-specific HR policies and practices (desirable but not essential).
