Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at The Boots Company PLC. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Warmly Welcome Patients: Greet patients with a smile and ensure they feel at ease during the blood collection process.
  2. Manage Clerical Responsibilities: Coordinate appointment bookings, maintain accurate records, and ensure adequate stock levels of essential materials.
  3. Collect Blood Samples: Take and maintain venous blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  4. Support on the Healthcare Counter: Provide valuable support to patients and customers, including offering informed advice on healthcare products and services.

What You'll Need to Have:

  1. Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Phlebotomist is desirable, but we will consider applicants without experience and provide full training.
  2. Passion for Healthcare: Be passionate about healthcare and customer care.
  3. Prepared to Learn: Be prepared to learn and complete a Healthcare Training Programme at NVQ2 or equivalent.
  4. Flexibility: Be flexible to work weekends.
