Our esteemed client, a leading Insurance Broking firm, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Technician to join their dynamic team at Employment Specialists Ltd.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with senior Account Managers to provide exceptional service to major Clients, assisting them with their Insurance requirements.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating compliant documents for new customers regarding their insurance needs
  • Obtaining renewal terms for customers and researching suitable alternatives
  • Producing renewal information for Account Managers to discuss with customers
  • Coordinating all renewal quotes for existing customers, including mid-term adjustments
  • Ensuring accurate recording of customer details and timely entry onto the system
  • Managing Insurer and client queries, confirming cover with relevant Insurers
  • Processing policies and chasing outstanding documentation when required
  • Securing delivery of policy documentation from Insurers and verifying prior to approval and release

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Insurance experience, gained within a Broker or Insurer, with a keen desire to learn and develop
  • Excellent customer service background
  • Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and social skills
  • Process-driven, able to achieve deadlines

This is an ideal opportunity for you to leverage your general Insurance knowledge and transition into dealing with Commercial Insurance, working with large clients who are often household names.

Initially, you will be based in the office, but this role can be performed on a hybrid basis, allowing for a balance between working from home and the office.
