Senior Planner Position

About the Role
">As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of project schedules for large-scale construction projects in Regional Scotland. This role is based in Edinburgh / Central Belt.
">Your Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage project schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.">
- Create compliant project programs while working independently or as part of a team.">
- Provide advanced expertise during the contract stage, ensuring strategic planning and execution.">
- Manage project critical paths and resources, addressing potential issues and driving projects to successful completion.">
- Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring performance and resolving contract-related issues.">
Desirable Qualities and Experience
">- ">
- Substantial experience of planning procedures within large complex building environments within the construction industry.">
- Proficiency with project management tools - ASTA.">
- Knowledge and working experience of 4D planning.">
- Expertise in contract management, resource planning, and risk analysis.">
- Knowledge and experience in high-quality fitouts projects, performance spaces being advantageous (i.e., stage lighting, engineering and production installation).">
- Previous experience in managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.">
- Good experience in the use of planning techniques and the required planning toolsets.">
- Good report writing skills.">
- Good understanding of various methods of planning, programming, and progress monitoring; Good understanding of risk and opportunity management with particular reference to planning/programming.">
- Relevant CSCS Card.">
