Special Needs Teaching Assistant Opportunity

At Tradewind Recruitment, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special needs secondary school in Oldham.
About the Role:This is a full-time, long-term position that requires a high level of support for pupils aged 11-19 with Autism and Complex Needs. The successful candidate will need to have experience in behaviour management and be able to employ strategies and methods to de-escalate challenging situations.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as access to over 2,500 free training courses through our partnership with The National College.
