We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our forward-thinking team at Ipswich Hospital ESNEFT, providing exceptional care to patients with ophthalmic needs.

Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, provide, and evaluate care for ophthalmic patients according to the Integrated Care Pathway (where applicable) under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records of care, both manual and computerized.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, legibility, timeliness, and proper filing.
  • Administer routine medications following local policy and NMC guidelines, including cannulation and IV drug administration when necessary.
  • Prioritize care, organize workload, and supervise junior staff where appropriate.
  • Support junior staff in their development and implement policies, such as Health & Safety, Moving & Handling, and Infection Control.
