Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Childcare Professional to join our team in Sgoil Araich an t-Ob. As a Nursery Key Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in Gaelic medium.

This is a 32 hour per week, term-time position that offers a competitive salary of £21,640 - £23,744 per annum, inclusive of a £2,049 Distant Islands Allowance.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will work with young children and their families in an early years setting, planning a curriculum that supports their all-round learning and development. You will also plan and organise play sessions, taking into account the needs of every child.

To succeed in this position, you must have proven childcare experience working with young children and their families, as well as a qualification that meets the Scottish Social Services Council's requirements for Practitioners.

The ability to speak and read Gaelic is essential, and you will be working through the medium of Gaelic in this role.
