Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for both technical accounting and tax matters?

Watkin Jones Group is seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join their finance team for a period of six months. Based from their office on Chester Business Park, this role offers the opportunity of agile working two to three days a week.

About the Role:

As a key member of the Watkin Jones finance team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and support to the business. Your technical accounting skills and knowledge of tax matters will be essential in ensuring the company's financial compliance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide tax advice and support to the business, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  2. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  3. Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  4. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in accounting and tax, with excellent technical skills and knowledge of financial systems. You will also need to be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
