Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Senior Merchandising Analyst to join our team at NEXT Retail Ltd. as a full-time Assistant/Trainee Merchandiser.

This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to develop their skills in the fashion retail industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Merchandising department in analysing previous sales history, reviewing size ratios and identifying best & worst sellers.

Additionally, they will gain a commercial understanding of product ranges and assess stores & competitors.

The role also involves providing administrative support surrounding trading meetings such as best and worst seller identification and sample gathering.

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in the fashion and retail industry and has either work experience or a relevant degree in Merchandising/Finance/Business.

Awareness of and genuine enthusiasm for the Joules brand is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Merchandising team in analysing sales data and identifying trends.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with competitor activity.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track sales performance.

We offer a competitive salary package including a base salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
