Senior Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced RICS registered valuer to join our commercial valuations team in London as a Senior Surveyor. The successful candidate will contribute to growing the Commercial valuations business, building client relationships, and working with the existing department partners to expand the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within the existing valuation team in London, providing valuations for loan security, internal decision-making purposes, tax, and financial reporting purposes.
  • Carry out inspections, calculate floor and site areas, conduct comparable research, demographic and economic research, planning and statutory enquiries, company trading analysis, lease reading and summarising, development / option agreement reading and reviewing, preparation of valuations / development appraisals.
  • Contribute to the growth of the business by identifying new business opportunities across the Commercial valuation sector.
  • Assist in the delivery of major projects.
  • Financial and client reporting.
  • Delivery of valuation reports in accordance with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards.
  • Participation in the ongoing development and implementation of an effective profit centre business plan developed in-line with the Carter Jonas vision.
Requirements

You will be an experienced chartered surveyor and registered valuer, with a strong knowledge of valuations across commercial assets. You will have the ability to lead a team and manage key clients across the region. You will ideally have a strong understanding of the local market and will be able to identify new opportunities to grow the business further. Travel will be required in this role and a driving licence is essential.
