Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asphalt Production Specialist to join our team at Aggregate Industries UK Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient production of asphalt at our Colemans Asphalt Plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain fixed and mobile plant equipment to produce high-quality asphalt.
  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure optimal efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform minor repairs to plant equipment.
  • Collaborate with site management and other team members to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in asphalt production and plant operations.
Requirements
  • Sound appreciation of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Background in a quarry or asphalt environment is desirable.
  • Flexibility with work hours and willingness to work regular weekend and night shifts.
  • Desire for training and willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience operating fixed plant and production processes is desirable.
  • IT literacy, basic mathematics, and ability to understand written instructions is essential.
