Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer - Equipment Specialist at Barton Firtop Engineering Company Limited, you will play a crucial role in the Sales department, responsible for maintaining good working relationships with clients and agents. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient and articulate handling of incoming sales enquiries within lead times and to the satisfaction of the client.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure sales targets are achieved and improved upon, where possible
Liaise with clients, agents, suppliers, and sub-contractors
Carry out preliminary mechanical design of equipment, including production of initial design calculations to determine vessel thickness and construction details
Organise, schedule, and prioritise the submission of bids in the absence of the Sales Manager
Develop a good knowledge of customers' businesses, contracts, markets, existing, and future projects

Working Hours
Office hours enable flexi-time working, covering a 37-hour week. Flexible start and finish times are available with core hours which must be covered each day. Monday to Thursday covers an 8-hour shift and Friday covers a 5-hour shift.
