Clinical Manager Job Description

Cygnet Delfryn Lodge is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead our high support inpatient rehabilitation service for women with severe and enduring mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional nursing care and lead by example to ensure consistent high standards of clinical care and documentation.
  • Implement all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring a safe and effective environment for patients and staff.
  • Lead and supervise clinical and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Support staff through debriefs, appraisals, training, and development of evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient recovery.
  • Monitor, manage, and reduce risk, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse/Registered Learning Disability Nurse with a valid PIN (RMN/RNLD).
  • Well-informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 and the latest nursing practices.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading clinical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
