About the Job:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN teacher to join our team of professionals who share a passion for primary education and supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adapt teaching materials to support individual learning needs of students with SEND.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and SEND specialists to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain open communication with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the student's education.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEND.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in SEND education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in primary teaching.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with SEND, either in a mainstream or specialist setting.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks efficiently.
