Job Description: Academic Professional in Healthcare Education

We are looking for an exceptional Academic Professional in Healthcare Education to join our esteemed institution, Elizabeth School of London Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students in the field of Health and Social Care.

About the Role:

The appointed individual will be expected to contribute to the delivery of various full-time programs, including Foundation year and full-degree courses developed in partnership with leading universities. This includes collaborating with esteemed university partners, such as Canterbury Christ Church University, Bath Spa University, St Mary's University Twickenham London, and other Higher Education partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Tutor students, providing personalized support to facilitate their academic growth and positive progression.
  • Participate actively in the development and refinement of course content, collaborating effectively with both staff and students.
  • Develop and deliver module/unit-specific sessions aligned with Learning Outcomes and syllabuses.
  • Deploy assessments appropriately as outlined by the assessment team.
  • Establish measures to understand student learning needs and provide timely formative feedback.
  • Mark and provide summative feedback within prescribed deadlines.
  • E nsure compliance with Programme Specification expectations of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities under which modules are being taught.
  • Produce high-quality module/unit reports and exhibit excellent communication skills.

Essential Requirements:

  • A Master's degree and/or a PhD in a relevant area.
  • Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
  • Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at the Higher Education level.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Blackboard/VLEs, MS Teams, and Zoom.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working in the industry related to Health and Social Care.

Salary Range: £28K - £55K per annum (based on experience and qualifications), plus benefits.
