We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Learning Mentor to join our team at Amegreen Children's Services. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of children aged 5-18.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work across both sites, delivering purposeful and productive activities for children using a range of resources and teaching styles. You will promote positive behaviour management in the Forest School environment and support senior staff in the observation, assessment, and planning cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement agreed practices with individuals and groups of children based in their outdoor sessions.
2. Support senior staff in the observation, assessment, and planning cycle, and lead on individual management and preparation of lesson plans and resources.
3. Support children's learning and set activities, fostering independent problem-solving and creative play.
4. Accompany staff and children on visits, trips, and off-site activities as required.

About Our Team:

At Amegreen Children's Services, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional residential care for children. Our skilled facilitators work with horses and other animals to help young people process painful feelings and learn to trust their environment.

Your Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including private use of company caravan, 28 days holiday, health cash plan, free flu jabs, sick pay, and employee assistance programme.
