Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team as a District Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our community members and to develop your nursing career.

Main Duties of the Job

As a District Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in their own homes and in residential care settings. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and person-centered care. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for patients
  • Providing wound care and management
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Supporting patients and their families with complex care needs

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • A degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Experience of working in a community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
