About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technician to join our team at Renault UK. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and service of Renault vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake the timely repair and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with Renault's technical standards.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of vehicles and identify non-routine defects or additional faults.
  • Perform Electronic Vehicle Health Checks and undertake vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test repairs.
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure they are informed of work progress and briefed on completed work.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, offering technical advice and support when required.
  • Obtain authorisation for additional work and maintain a high level of technical competence through regular training and support.
  • Support the development of workshop apprentices and contribute to the improvement of workshop efficiency.
Requirements
  • Relevant formal qualification (IMI/City & Guilds) and extensive experience as a Technician.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical information to colleagues and customers.
  • Passion for the industry and commitment to ongoing technical development.
  • Customer-focused approach, prioritising customer experience and safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take ownership of safety issues.
  • Thorough and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and first-time fixes.
  • Honest and integrity-driven approach.
