Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Internal Audit Role

THC Recruitment is seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as a Graduate Internal Audit professional. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a business and develop a deep understanding of audit principles, risk management, and governance.

In this role, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with the Internal Audit Manager to perform and deliver end-to-end audits of various business processes, risks, and controls. This will involve identifying opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing audit plans, and providing recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management.
  • Develop and implement audit plans to ensure that all aspects of the business are thoroughly evaluated.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Audit Manager to identify and assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide regular updates to the Internal Audit system, including new audits, management action plans, and assignment of action owners for completed reports.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business and its operations, including its risks and controls.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and objectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to apply the principles of internal audit, including confidentiality, integrity, competence, transparency, and objectivity.
  • A strong understanding of business processes and systems, including risk management and governance.
