Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will provide high-quality, client-centered legal services to senior stakeholders. Reporting to a Principal Lawyer, your responsibilities will include advising on procurement processes, drafting tender documents, contracts, and various commercial agreements, as well as providing counsel on commercial law and related projects.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a legal expert who excels in a dynamic environment and is keen to engage in strategic decision-making.

Candidate Profile

  • A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a current practicing certificate, or a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset when addressing legal challenges.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about legal advancements.
  • Experience within Local Authorities is advantageous but not mandatory.
