We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at United Living Group. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all site events and resources, working towards the delivery of a project on a site-by-site basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients and participate in client meetings, representing the GBC brand.
- Programme Management: Manage the programme to ensure that site elements are being performed within KPIs and TTO dates are met within SLAs.
- Team Management: Manage the workload of the team of co-ordinators, and site-based DICI engineers, and ensure this workload is monitored regularly.
- Incident Management: Manage site-based incidents, and resolve quickly and effectively.
- Procurement: Approve raised Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring all relevant background work has been done by Project Co-ordinator to ensure best value v service provided has been achieved.
- Health and Safety: Sign off and oversee the issue of method statements, risk assessments, Health & Safety Packs, and Quality Plans.
- Reporting: Update internal trackers and schedules to include DICI dates and transmission due dates, and input site data into internal and client systems where required.
- Analysis: Analyse reporting data to understand if discrepancies are occurring and elements are not hitting KPI dates, and recommend rectification measures to bring the programme back within required KPI timeframes if necessary.
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure that these rectification measures are implemented and monitored for effectiveness, and gather site data and call testing results to report back to GBC via the project team Hand Over Pack (HOP) process.
- Communication: Report progress to the client throughout the working day, and work closely with the Commercial team to ensure they are aware of any financial impact.
- Process Improvement: Report on, manage, and instigate continuous improvement by the effective use of KPIs, and find efficiencies and improvements in internal and external processes.
- Compliance: Ensure the procedures and requirements as detailed within the Company Procedures and Quality Manual are implemented at all times.
- IT Skills: Good level of IT skills, including Excel, and other Microsoft packages.
- Industry Experience: Experience of working in the Telecommunications or similar industry.
- Client Tools: Adept at manipulating client tools/reports on a regular basis.
- Software Skills: Omnix, Evenflow, ADC Build, Remedy, Arqiva, WIG, SharePoint, Business Central skills are advantageous.
- Qualifications: IT Qualifications, Health and Safety Qualifications.
