Role Overview:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Intervention Specialist, you will work with students who require additional support to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement targeted Intervention strategies to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Participate in relevant school activities, meetings, and professional development.
  • Provide 1:1 support to students when needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding students.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
  • Proven experience in working effectively with children with SEN, ASD, ADHD, or SEND.
