Job Overview
As a Product Development and Sustainment Programme Manager at Systems Engineering & Assessment (SEA), you will play a key role in defining the torpedo launcher strategy and delivering business results. This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced programme manager to lead complex product developments through the full lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer requirements.

About the Role
This is a Barnstaple-based position that involves working with a mix of office and home-based teams. As the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing product developments, taking ownership of outcomes, budget, quality, and timescales of product releases. You will also act as the customer-facing project managers' supplier and internal point of contact, providing effective leadership to the product team and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEA's business and technology, allowing them to add value through effective planning, risk, and opportunity management.

Responsibilities
- Manage complex product/systems developments through the full product lifecycle
- Ensure timely delivery and meeting customer requirements
- Act as the customer-facing project managers' supplier and internal point of contact
- Provide effective leadership to the product team and beyond
- Develop business and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Deliver promised business results

Requirements
- Experience of managing complex product/systems developments through the full product lifecycle
- Skilled influencer with highly developed influencing skills
- Excellent communicator with experience of change and conflict management
- Proven knowledge and experience of all phases of a project from inception, planning, and organisation, monitoring, and control, closure in the military environment
- Hands-on experience of working with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, risk registers, etc.
- Ability to use advanced features when necessary
