Clinical Director

The NHS is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to provide clinical operational leadership and responsibility for the Service(s) listed in Appendix 1. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of clinical professionals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a complex clinical caseload, providing clinical advice and expertise where required, and facilitating robust CIP identification, reporting, and monitoring for Services listed in Appendix 1.
In addition, the Clinical Director will work with the DDNT & Professional Lead to develop the strategic overview for continuing quality improvement within service(s), providing leadership and clinical support to clinical staff to enable change.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced clinical professional to join the NHS team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Qualifications and Experience- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- Membership/Registration of relevant professional body
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Knowledge of local health economy
- Knowledge of current NHS Framework
- Comprehensive understanding of quality agenda for NHS
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative without frequent supervision
