We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Assistant to join our team, working closely with a young man living in his own home who has autism.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and understanding, enabling them to provide high-quality support that enables our client to maximise his potential for independence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Assisting with daily activities, such as arts and crafts, swimming, and dance classes">
  • Providing emotional support and promoting a safe, happy, and stimulating environment">
  • Facilitating relationships with family and friends, while maintaining confidentiality">
  • Working collaboratively with another PA to ensure seamless support">

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will require:

  • ">
  • A clean driving licence and willingness to drive the employer's vehicle">
  • An enhanced DBS check, paid for by the employer">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, preferably in a similar setting">
