Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Bacton Design Team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical aspects of projects, providing clear guidance and expert advice on Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Systems.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled team of over 600 technicians and engineers across Great Britain. You will use industry and company technical standards and procedures to provide clear instruction and guidance to framework contractors, ensuring stakeholder acceptance.

Fundamental to the Design Engineer role is taking accountability for key activities such as coordinating formal process safety and environmental assessments, undertaking and managing design reviews, coordinating approvals, and providing technical support to key stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Engineering background with Design Engineering experience, ideally in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Minimum of HNC level qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering
