Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Risk Specialist to join our team at 1st Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and contribute to the development of a best-in-class procurement function.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting governance in the procurement team, ensuring a focused and professional approach to all sourcing and supplier relationship management activities.
  • This role will also involve evolving best practices, delivering projects, and coordinating activities related to supplier onboarding, audits, compliance, and meeting regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Procurement Governance and Process Manager and Head of Procurement Governance to continue developing a best-in-class function with a long-term vision to deliver a sustainable approach to all third-party sourcing and supplier management while minimizing risk and driving efficiencies.
  • Support the delivery of procurement governance and process projects on time and in-full, identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Facilitate procurement risk management activities, including bi-annual review of the department's risk register, facilitating the risk control self-attestation (RCSA) process, and coordinating quarterly supplier risk groups with relevant subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for material/critical third parties, including due diligence to meet internal and external requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience of governance and procurement processes.
  • Experience in understanding risk within an organization.
  • Experience of working with stakeholders to drive change.
  • Experience of working with third parties and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in delivering projects in full and on time.
  • Degree qualified.

  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
