Job Description:


We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Aftermarket Parts Leader to join our team at Waylands Volvo Oxford. As a key member of our Parts team, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of all Parts stock, recruiting, leading, training, motivating and developing the Parts Team, maintaining standards of performance in the Parts Department, managing relationships with suppliers, collaborating with the service and sales departments, providing excellent customer service, utilizing the Kerridge system for inventory management, order processing, and reporting, achieving Parts sales volumes and profit objectives, and managing all aspects of the Parts Department.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the management of all Parts stock
  • Recruit, lead, train, motivate and develop the Parts Team
  • Maintain standards of performance in the Parts Department
  • Manage relationships with suppliers
  • Collaborate with the service and sales departments
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Utilize the Kerridge system
  • Achieve Parts sales volumes and profit objectives

Requirements:


  • Excellent technical knowledge gained in the retail motor industry
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Able to take initiative and ownership of issues with a proactive can-do attitude
  • Able to multi-task and switch between tasks
  • A team player who offers help and support to others
  • Liaise with other managers within the business
  • Be adaptable and approachable always

Salary:


£40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
