Examination Invigilator
About the Role:We are seeking reliable staff to join our pool of invigilators for University examinations. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth examination processes, allowing our students to perform at their best. Invigilators will be responsible for setting out examination materials, assisting students, and maintaining correct procedures throughout the examination.
Key Responsibilities:- Setting out examination papers and supporting documents
- Assisting students entering the examination room
- Ensuring adherence to examination regulations
- Collecting examination papers and supporting documents at the end of the examination
Examinations take place from Monday to Saturday, with most sessions starting at 10:00 am or 2:00 pm. Invigilators will need to arrive 1.5 hours before the exam and may finish up to 1 hour after it ends. They can claim an hourly rate for the whole time worked.
Training and Support:Invigilators will be required to attend a training session before their first assignment. Exams are held at The King's Centre (Osney Mead) and Headington Campus, with some exceptions.
