About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist Associate to join our Ecosystems Solutions department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects, delivering technical work, and mentoring a team of ecologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects, including ecology input to large-scale projects
  • Deliver technical work on complex projects, meeting deadlines and managing budgets
  • Business development, fee proposal preparation, and client relationship management
  • Effective resource planning, management, and mentoring of an ecology team
  • Supervision and management of sub-consultants
  • Managing and planning ecological surveys, producing and reviewing high-quality reports
  • Liaising with ecological regulators and planning authorities
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient individual with a strong background in ecology. You should have a good understanding of relevant environmental legislation and the UK planning system. Proficiency in MS Office software is essential, and a full clean UK driving license is required.
