School Overview
We are a dynamic and supportive Secondary SEND School in Kent, seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves working collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The Role
- Supporting students with SEN 1:1 and in small groups.
- Assisting in the classroom with Maths, English, and other subjects.
- Setting and achieving goals for individual pupils in academic and personal development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children, including those with SEN/SEMH needs.
- A positive attitude and a 'can-do' approach to supporting students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer
- A competitive daily rate of £90-£120 per day.
- Monday to Friday, term-time only.
- Long-term, full-time contract.
