Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team at People Solutions. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently driving 3.5 and 7.5-tonne vehicles, as well as Class 2 vehicles, to deliver goods to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct 15-minute vehicle checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Drive vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Deliver goods to various locations, including up to 20 drops per day
  • Use a pump truck as required
  • Ensure loads are secure and properly loaded
  • Communicate effectively with depot staff and customers
Requirements
  • Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Hold a valid CPC and Tacho card
  • Have at least 6 months of experience driving Class 2 vehicles
  • Have a clean UK Category C Driving Licence with no more than six points for minor infringements
Desirable Experience
  • Previous experience delivering food items
  • Over 12 months of Class 2 driving experience
