Social Care Lecturer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Care Lecturer to join our teaching team at University College Birmingham. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a range of Health and Social Care units at Further Education level, contributing to the development of curriculum materials and assessment strategies. They must demonstrate a flexible approach to work and an enthusiasm for continued professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Health and Social Care units at Further Education level.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and assessment strategies.
- Mentor and supervise students on practice placements.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area, hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification, and have experience of working in the Health and Social Care sector.
We offer a competitive salary of £34,866 - £42,632 per annum AC2, plus generous annual leave entitlement and excellent benefits including Teachers Pension Scheme, subsidised private healthcare, and staff development opportunities.
