About the Role:
Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry throughout our care homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with our standard operating procedures, ensuring hotel service standards are maintained.
- Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and the properties of cleaning materials, to ensure all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
- Ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect, and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all you do. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting is also essential.

- A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
