Strategic Financial and Administrative Coordinator for Epping Forest Heritage Trust

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Office Manager to join our team at Epping Forest Heritage Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the effective financial and administrative management of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage our finances, including bank accounts, cashflow, and investment funds, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.
- Maintain our Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger, processing payments and reconciliations efficiently.
- Prepare quarterly management accounts, extracting data from Quick Books Online for accurate reporting.
- Support the production of finance papers for the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees.
- Process payroll via IRIS Software and make related payments.
- Liaise with Independent Examiners during audits and manage office administration.
- Advise on financial issues and provide IT support.
Requirements:
- A qualified accountant or experienced bookkeeper with charity accounting experience.
- An understanding of administrative processes and how to run them efficiently.
- Strong financial skills, IT literacy, and ability to work independently.
Benefits:
- Salary: £32,000 per annum, pro rata for 15 hours a week.
- Pension: Auto-enrolment pension scheme.
- Annual leave entitlement: 25 days pro rata plus Bank Holidays and 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year.
Location: The Warren Lodge, Loughton, Essex
Hours: 15 hours per week with flexibility
