Job Title: Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at Jobs In Maritime Ltd. As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and servicing hydraulic systems for a wide range of applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manufacture hydraulic systems, including pipework solutions and hose assemblies.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic equipment and components.
  • Work within the guidelines of our Company Quality Management System.
  • Ensure all work is completed to specification and meets our quality standards.
  • Collaborate with our Workshop and Service Centre Manager to identify training needs and undertake training programs.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are met and relevant Risk Assessments are completed and actioned.
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of general engineering and hydraulic systems.
  • BFPA level 1 & 2 certificate in mobile / industrial hydraulics or a recognised time served apprenticeship or proven experience.
  • Basic understanding of electrics/electronics would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Full clean driving licence.
Competency Requirements:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Energetic and self-motivated.
  • Team player.
  • High standards of workmanship.
  • Good planning & time-management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Core hours are Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-16:00
