About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & I. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our residents.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and food quality. You will be passionate about great-tasting food and committed to delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for our residents, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Monitor food costs, ordering supplies, and managing inventory.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or senior living setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
