We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells, the leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food to our clients and customers in schools across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and be able to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels. Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
  • Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
  • Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations
