Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Small Animal Night Nurse to join our experienced team at Hook Norton Veterinary Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to provide high-quality care to our patients on a 5 on/9 off rota, with competitive pay ranging from £32,000-£40,560 pro rata depending on experience.

About the Role

As a Night Nurse, you will work alongside the night vet and have support from a Nursing assistant during the twilight part of your shift. You will be based at our state-of-the-art hospital, where we have all the necessary equipment and facilities to provide exceptional care.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid UK driving license and have their own transport due to the rural location. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care and encourage our nursing team to utilize their skills and experience to make a real difference.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to our small animal patients under the supervision of the night vet.
  • Conduct ward rounds and handovers at shift change to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assist in making patient plans and adjusting them as needed during the night.
