Job Description:

We are seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join our Litigation Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a range of litigation cases, including property disputes, commercial litigation, and contentious probate matters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Department Director
  • Provide professional and proactive advice to clients on litigation matters
  • Manage a caseload of litigation cases, including property disputes, commercial litigation, and contentious probate matters
  • Assist with casework, including dealing with correspondence, preparing cases, and attending clients
  • Implement recommendations made by supervisors following monthly file reviews
  • Ensure compliance with file management procedures
Key Skills:
  • Valid Practising Certificate
  • Proactive approach, excellent client care skills, and ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of publicly funded litigation work and ability to service privately funded cases
  • Experience in dealing with probate litigation-related work
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and document management
