Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Trainer to join our team at Dovetail & Slate Limited. As a Trainer - Apprenticeships in Carpentry, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vocational training to apprentices in classroom, workshop, and on-site settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training sessions that cater to the needs of apprentices, helping them develop essential skills for their future careers.
  • Support apprentices in building employability, life, and learning skills that will enhance their careers.
  • Engage with employers to discuss additional qualifications and training to enhance apprentices' contribution in the workplace.
  • Use your industry experience to enrich the learning journey of our apprentices.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in carpentry and woodwork.
  • Commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or Equivalent.
  • UK Driving License with access to a vehicle for necessary travel.
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo necessary processes.
