About the Role

This Staff Officer Accountant position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of public sector finance, managing budgets, reports, and financial data analysis.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and Manage Budgets: Develop, implement, and manage budgets to ensure effective financial planning and control.
  2. Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the public sector.

  • Salary: £38-39k per annum.
