We are currently seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team at Longfield Academy in Kent.

This part-time role involves working 3 days a week, with the ideal candidate having previous experience as a qualified teacher and holding QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lesson Planning: Plan and lead insightful, varied and inclusive lessons for students.
  2. Student Support: Liaise with support staff regarding students who need additional support.
  3. Progress Tracking: Track student progress and adjust any targets as needed.
  4. Feedback Provision: Provide students with feedback regarding their progress.
  5. Pupil Safety: Ensure pupil safety both inside and outside of the classroom.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a qualified teacher is essential.
  2. Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  3. Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
  4. Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one.
  5. Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references and cover the last 2 years of employment.
