Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for progressing the development and transformation of our application estate using Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new applications and components using Azure services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical considerations
  • Develop and implement best practices for software development and deployment
  • Work with DevOps colleagues to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of applications
  • Document and share knowledge with team members to improve overall team capabilities

Requirements:

  • Strong commercial experience of server-side development with C#, Asp.Net MVC, WebAPI REST, and JSON
  • Practical knowledge of Azure including Serverless Functions, BLOB storage, Azure Tables, and Service Bus Queues
  • Experience of consuming and building APIs in Azure using tools such as Swagger and Postman
  • Understanding of databases including ability to query SQL Server using T-SQL
  • Experience with accessing databases with Entity Framework or EF Core
