Leading a Pensions Administration Team

We are seeking an experienced Pension Administration Team Lead to join our Payroll, Pension and People Administration service. This is a key role in leading, motivating, and transforming our pensions team to deliver services across circa 11,000 employees and 4 public sector pension schemes.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing a professional, efficient, cost-effective, and best-in-class pension service to all customers. Taking day-to-day management accountability of the Pensions Administration team, you will ensure that individuals are appropriately skilled and qualified to undertake their roles successfully.

You will be the corporate specialist for the organisation, keeping up-to-date with relevant changes in legislation and guidance and dealing with the most complex pension queries. Your expertise in managing a pension administration team and a strong background in public sector pension scheme processes are essential.

We are looking for someone with great communication and relationship-building skills who can vision improvements to the service. You will also be responsible for reporting to the Head of Payroll, Pensions and People Administration.

About the Role
  • Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
  • 37 hour working week, including flexible and hybrid working
