Compressor Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Compressor Specialist to join our team at Verto People, a global leading compressed air manufacturer.

The successful candidate will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the South East UK - Sussex, Kent, London & Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake planned and preventative maintenance of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and downstream products.
• Maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment.
• Install compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into various manufacturing industries.
• Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
• Liaise with engineering departments.

Requirements:

• Proven diagnostic skills on complex electrical / mechanical engineering systems, preferably compressed air related products.
• Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar with compressed air experience.
• Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
• Service experience in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience in refrigeration with FGas certification, air filtration, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems or similar associated compressor products.
• A technical engineering degree or apprentice-trained would be beneficial.
• Willingness to travel and cover the South East UK - Sussex, Kent, London & Surrey.

Estimated Salary: £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
