Production Operative Position in Leeds

Job Description

The Sure Group is seeking a reliable and skilled Production Operative to join our team at a leading vegetable processing manufacturer in Leeds.

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of being made permanent for the right candidate. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:

  • Picking ambient and chilled food from storage areas
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial
  • Checking and weighing raw materials to ensure quality control
  • Maintaining a clean and organized production environment
  • Running quality checks on finished products, including size and weight verification
  • Packaging and labelling products efficiently

Working hours are 11 hours per day, with two possible shifts:

  • Days: 7:30am-7pm (approx.)
  • Nights: 6:45pm-5/6am (approx.)

Shift times may vary depending on availability, but candidates must be able to work 4-5 days per week, including weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The hourly rate for this role is £11.44/hour, increasing to £11.61 after 12 weeks of service. Additionally, there is an evening shift premium payment of £16 if work finishes after 4am.
