Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical installations and project management, a proven track record in commercial construction projects, and ideally previous hospital experience. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Completing installation and administrative reports to track project progress and compliance.
  2. Liaising effectively with the project team and clients, facilitating weekly meetings to discuss project status and any issues that arise.
  3. Managing subcontractors to ensure work is completed to the required standards and within timelines.
  4. Overseeing site labour, including conducting risk assessments, preparing method statements, and delivering inductions for site personnel.
  5. Arranging any necessary shutdowns in coordination with the client and project team, minimizing disruption to the project timeline.

Qualifications:

Proven experience working on commercial projects, preferably in the healthcare sector. Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification is required. Demonstrated ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively. Proficiency in IT, including project management software and documentation tools.
