Senior Accounting Coordinator

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales and purchase ledgers, overseeing credit control processes, performing general ledger reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end processes. You will also produce monthly reports to provide insights into financial performance.
About the Position:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong financial background and exceptional organisational skills to work in a varied and busy role. The ideal candidate will have a 'can-do' attitude and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Sales and Purchase Ledgers: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Oversee Credit Control Processes: Ensure timely payments from customers.
- Perform General Ledger Reconciliations: Identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with Month-End and Year-End Processes: Include prepayments and preparation of financial statements.
- Produce Monthly Reports: Provide insights into financial performance.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- AAT Level 3 qualified (minimum)
- Strong experience with Sage Accounting software
- IT Literate (particularly Excel, including lookups and pivot tables)
- Highly organised, with an exceptional eye for detail
