Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and talented Sous Baker who shares our commitment to producing high-quality baked products with creativity, care, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of bread production, leading the development of new products, and ensuring consistently high standards across all our products.
Key Responsibilities- Manage bread production to ensure consistently high standards across all products.
- Lead the production of viennoiserie and cakes, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
- Develop new products that reflect the bakery's values and stay ahead of trends.
- Review and deliver improvements in process efficiencies and product quality.
- Create and introduce a lunch offering onto our menu.
- Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and follow health & safety guidelines.
- Oversee stock control, scheduling, rotas, and ordering.
- Experience in bread and viennoiserie production.
- Ability to travel to Notting Hill in the early hours of the morning.
- Experience working in an artisan bakery.
- Genuine interest in food.
- Innovative and creative approach to product development.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
